The compulsive need for artistic creation has fueled me since childhood. I have always enjoyed a simple pencil drawing, charcoal sketch, or vibrant water color. Using my hands and imagination to create anything from a Japanese garden, a beautifully remodeled home, or an abstract painting has always been a passion of mine.
I was born in Kansas City, Missouri to loving parents Gene and Bev. I have spent a good part of my life exploring and molding the person that I am today. I attended the University of Missouri and started a career in the dental field. I use my creativity with a heated spatula and pallet of wax to carve teeth and other dental appliances. I moved to Atlanta in the late seventies and that is where I reside today.
The abstract expressionist, Jackson Pollock has greatly influenced my art which has been largely self taught. Strokes on a canvas are the ultimate expression of my personality through spontaneity, energy, bright colors, and brush strokes. I paint fast, incorporating an element of chance by relying on my improvising abilities. Please check out my website and feel free to contact me via e-mail or by phone with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you. New paintings will be placed on my website as they become available. I hope to hear from you soon.
