I’m currently pursuing an MA in music history and performance at Hunter College (where I got my B. Music).
I’m a saxophonist who specializes in modern classical music but can teach a wide range of styles, including the basics of jazz and improvisation. Unlike a lot of saxophonists I can teach you how to play in tune, how to blend with other instruments, and how to produce a beautiful sound. Besides giving a solid grounding in the basics of sax playing I can also give more advanced instruction in extended techniques (multi-phonics, microtones, altissimo range, etc.) and in classical repertoire for saxophone. I have experience teaching children new to learning an instrument as well as adults.

Lessons can be taught at upper east side and astoria facilities, or I can come to your home.
